Walhalla — The City of Walhalla is asking that water users temporarily restrict outdoor water use and implement water conservation measures.
The City of Walhalla Water Department is experiencing system pressure issues due to excessive water usage. The high temperatures and dry conditions have led many users to activate outdoor irrigation systems. This high demand has resulted in low system pressure and has led to the implementation of a mandatory outdoor water use restriction.
This restriction is a temporary measure to ensure adequate water supply for household use by prohibiting the use of irrigation systems until further notice. Agricultural operations are exempt. Updates will be provided as conditions improve.
